Penzance

The Penzance trip was one of the highlights of the course so far. I enjoyed going out and drawing and produced some work that I was pleased with. I felt like the work I produced in the first few days wasn't very good but it improved as I had more practice and time to draw. I liked drawing in Newlyn Harbour and St Ives, and looking around the Barbara Hepworth Museum. I didn't enjoy painting the wooden panels as much but I was pleased with some of the results, and really enjoyed painting a part of the mural in the games room.
